Federal Minister for Information and senior PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar has said India’s cowardly drone attacks are a desperate and frustrated response after suffering an unexpected and humiliating blow when its much-hyped Rafale jets were shot down by Pakistan. He stated that the morale of the Indian Air Force collapsed following the incident, forcing India to withdraw its aircraft to southern bases in fear.
Speaking on Express News’ programme Centre Stage, Tarar said, “India never imagined its Rafale jets—advertised as superior and invincible—could be brought down. But Pakistan’s air defence proved otherwise. After the strikes, Indian aircraft were hastily relocated southwards, and we have concrete evidence of this withdrawal.”
He strongly condemned the recent Indian aggression, stating that “the enemy has now stooped to unprovoked and cowardly drone attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles.” Tarar reassured the public, saying, “Lahore remains completely safe. No significant damage has occurred. Only a military installation experienced partial equipment damage, and four of our soldiers were injured. There is absolutely no need to panic.”
He also noted that Pakistan continues to be viewed positively by religious minorities abroad, including the Sikh community, which holds strong goodwill for Pakistan.
In the same programme, defence analyst and retired Commodore Haider Raza lashed out at India’s reckless conduct, accusing New Delhi of violating international borders, targeting civilians, women, children, mosques, and critical infrastructure. “Yesterday and again today, India crossed all bounds with unjustified and illegal drone strikes,” he said.
Raza added, “India is now blindly relying on failed technology. It previously used the Israeli-made Heron unmanned combat vehicle, and today it launched the Harop loitering munition, commonly known as a killer drone. Both were ineffective. This is a clear example of failed fifth-generation warfare tactics.”
The Pakistani leadership affirmed that the country remains vigilant and fully prepared to respond to any form of aggression, exposing India’s hostile intentions and technological failures before the world.
