Credible security sources have revealed a disturbing and malicious plan by the Indian Army and intelligence agencies to stage fake encounters using innocent Pakistani citizens who have been illegally and forcibly detained in Indian custody.
According to the sources, dozens of Pakistani nationals being held without legal justification in Indian jails and secret detention facilities are now being prepared for extrajudicial killings in staged encounters across various areas of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). After orchestrating these killings, India aims to falsely brand the victims as “cross-border terrorists” to advance its anti-Pakistan narrative.
This planned deception involves pre-recorded visuals and photographs of the victims with planted weapons, which will be immediately disseminated to Indian media. The goal is to fabricate another propaganda campaign against Pakistan, particularly after the spectacular failure of the Pahalgam false flag operation, which has left Indian authorities exposed and frustrated.
Intelligence reports further suggest that some of the detainees could be forced to appear before the media and deliver fabricated confessions or anti-Pakistan statements under duress — a blatant violation of human rights and international law.
During press conferences held on April 29 and 30, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) had already disclosed the illegal detention of 723 Pakistani citizens in Indian prisons. He also provided detailed information about 56 individuals who have been abducted and are being held without trial by Indian intelligence agencies.
India’s history of using extrajudicial tactics is well-documented. On April 24, two innocent residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir — Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Deen — were brutally murdered in a fake encounter by the Indian Army after mistakenly crossing the Line of Control.
The Indian Army is notorious for such fake encounters, particularly in occupied Kashmir, where it has repeatedly staged incidents to justify its repressive policies and war hysteria. The latest revelations underscore India’s desperation and unrelenting hostility toward Pakistan.
Pakistan strongly condemns these gross human rights violations and urges the international community, human rights organizations, and the United Nations to hold India accountable for its unlawful actions and end the impunity with which it continues to commit atrocities.
