Senior American journalist and CNN’s International Diplomatic Editor Nick Robertson has made sensational revelations about the recent ceasefire between Pakistan and India, confirming that it was Pakistan’s powerful military response that forced India to back down and agree to talks.
In a televised interview, Robertson disclosed that while the international community had been struggling for days to broker peace, it was India that escalated the situation by launching unprovoked airstrikes on Pakistani airbases. In retaliation, Pakistan delivered a crushing response, unleashing a barrage of unstoppable missile strikes that compelled India to retreat and seek a ceasefire.
Robertson stated that India came to the negotiating table only after facing the full force of Pakistan’s missile capabilities. “Pakistan’s retaliation changed the game,” he remarked, emphasizing that New Delhi had no choice but to step back after sustaining heavy military losses.
According to the CNN journalist, the U.S. Secretary of State urgently contacted Saudi and Turkish authorities to help defuse the crisis. Diplomatic efforts from Riyadh and Ankara, triggered by Pakistan’s superior response, eventually led to a ceasefire agreement.
The revelations coincide with details emerging about Operation Bunyān Mārṣūṣ (Iron Wall), Pakistan’s swift and overwhelming military campaign in response to Indian aggression. During the operation, Pakistan targeted and destroyed more than ten high-value Indian military assets, including airbases in Adampur, Udhampur, Bathinda, Suratgarh, Mamun, Akhnoor, Jammu, Sirsa, and Barnala. Strategic sites such as the Uri Field Supply Depot and the Sirsa and Halwara airfields were also reduced to rubble.
Pakistan’s Fatah-1 missile system played a decisive role in the operation, striking multiple Indian positions with precision. In a major blow to Indian defenses, a Pakistan Air Force JF-17 Thunder aircraft launched a hypersonic missile that destroyed the Indian S-400 air defense system worth $1.5 billion at the Adampur airbase. The Pakistan Army released video footage of the JF-17 in action, showcasing the military’s advanced strike capabilities.
After this overwhelming display of strength, India was left with no option but to agree to a ceasefire, marking a significant strategic victory for Pakistan.
