Rawalpindi – April 29: In a powerful and detailed press conference, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, presented what he called “undeniable and complete evidence” of India’s involvement in state-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan.
The DG ISPR laid bare a network of Indian military-linked terrorism operations, highlighting a series of events and intercepted communications that directly link Indian Army officials to planned and executed terrorist attacks within Pakistani territory.
“Seven days have passed since the Pahalgam incident, and India has failed to present any evidence for its accusations,” said Lt. Gen. Chaudhry. “In contrast, we are placing before the world solid proof of India’s state terrorism.”
He revealed that on April 25, Pakistani security forces arrested an Indian-trained terrorist named Abdul Majeed from a bus terminal near Jhelum. Authorities recovered a 2.5 kg bomb, an Indian-manufactured drone, and over one million rupees in cash from the suspect’s possession.
Most damning, however, was the digital evidence: Majeed’s mobile phone showed direct communication with Indian Army personnel. “His handler is none other than Subedar Sukhwinder Singh of the Indian Army,” said DG ISPR. “We have identified four Indian army officials involved in this network — Major Sandeep Verma, Subedar Sukhwinder, Havildar Amit, and one sepoy — all actively orchestrating attacks on Pakistani soil.”
The briefing included examples of how these officers instructed terrorists to target civilians and soldiers in Pakistan, even sending video tutorials on bomb-making. Intercepted conversations exposed how the Indian handlers demanded “bodies of Pakistani civilians” to paint a picture of instability.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry detailed several attacks linked to this network:
-
13 October 2024: Abdul Majeed planted a bomb in District Bagh, injuring three Pakistani soldiers.
-
30 November 2024: An IED attack on a military vehicle in Jalalpur Jattan left four soldiers wounded.
-
19 March 2025: Schoolchildren near Kotli spotted a suspicious bag which was later found to contain explosives, planted as per instructions from Major Sukhwinder.
In another revelation, DG ISPR stated that India used drones to deliver IEDs into Pakistan, further intensifying the cross-border terrorism campaign. One such drone crash site yielded explosive devices intended for attacks inside Pakistani territory.
“This is not an isolated case,” warned Lt. Gen. Chaudhry. “This is part of a consistent pattern of Indian state terrorism aimed at destabilising Pakistan, targeting both civilians and military personnel.”
He concluded by stating that Pakistan reserves the right to respond diplomatically and at all relevant forums to expose India’s nefarious actions.
