How Far Has Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq Advanced Against Khawarij and Afghan Taliban?

Pakistan’s Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, released the latest operational update on Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq, outlining significant military gains against Khawarij elements and Afghan Taliban fighters. According to the official statement, Pakistani security forces have so far eliminated 796 Khawarij and Afghan Taliban militants, while 1,043 others have been injured, reflecting the scale and intensity of the ongoing campaign.

The minister further stated that Pakistani forces have destroyed 286 enemy posts and captured 44 positions, marking a substantial strategic advantage. Additionally, multiple military assets belonging to hostile elements—including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, and drones have been destroyed during the operation.

Providing details on aerial operations, Tarar noted that 81 militant hideouts and their facilitators across Afghanistan were targeted in precision airstrikes based on credible intelligence. These strikes have significantly disrupted the operational capabilities of hostile networks.

Highlighting a recent incident, the minister said that on the night of April 3, Khawarij elements in coordination with Afghan Taliban fighters attempted to attack a border post in the Ghulam Khan sector. The attack was successfully repelled by Pakistani forces through a swift and effective response.

“As a result of the timely action, the attackers suffered heavy losses, with 37 militants killed and more than 80 injured,” Tarar stated, adding that Pakistan’s border defenses remain secure and fully operational.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to continue Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq until all threats to national security are eliminated. Officials emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and fully prepared to counter any aggression, ensuring peace and stability in the region.
