In a disturbing escalation of extremist propaganda, Hafiz Gul Bahadar group has released a new episode of its documentary series Muflihoon, openly glorifying a suicide attack on the Bannu cantonment carried out on March 3, 2025.
The fourth episode of the series prominently features two of the group’s sub factions — Jabhat Ansar al-Mahdi Khorasan (JAMK) and Jaish-e-Fursan-e-Muhammad (JFM) — which claim responsibility for the assault. According to the video, the attack was jointly planned and executed by the group’s Al-Badr and Al-Hamza suicide battalions, involving 16 militants during the holy month of Ramadan.
The video includes training footage of the suicide attackers, interviews with operational members, and graphic imagery meant to glorify the act as a form of “sacred sacrifice.” Militants are portrayed as “heroes of faith,” with the production promising “victory and honor” for those who follow in their footsteps.
Security analysts warn that the video serves as a radicalization tool, aimed at recruiting vulnerable youth and inciting further violence in the name of extremist ideology. The timing of the release — during a period of increased militant activity — is being seen as a calculated move to reinforce the group’s operational narrative and boost morale among sympathizers.
