Unknown gunmen opened fire on a convoy carrying Deputy Commissioner of South Waziristan, Ismatullah Wazir, and other officials while traveling from Tank near Habibkot Addana area of tehsil Ladha.
According to police, the ADC F&P’s double-cabin vehicle was hit, leaving clerk Ijaz Mehsud and police constable Gul Nawaz with minor injuries. Both were immediately transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital in Ladha for treatment.
Officials confirmed that the rest of the convoy members were unharmed, and no major damage was reported.
