A khariji who had managed to escape during a security operation last week was finally eliminated today by the brave soldiers of Chitral Scouts in the Laspur region, bringing the operation to a successful and conclusive end.
According to details, on May 20, residents of Bashqar Gol in Laspur reported the suspicious presence of two Khawarij to the Levies Force. Responding swiftly, the Levies launched an immediate operation. In the resulting exchange of fire, one khariji was killed on the spot, while the other fled into the nearby mountains.
In response, a large-scale search operation was jointly launched by the Levies, Chitral Police, and Chitral Scouts. After days of tireless efforts, the fugitive was located and met his end at the hands of Pakistan’s forces today.
Security sources have confirmed that the neutralized khariji is the same individual who had earlier managed to escape. His death is being seen as a major success in the ongoing campaign against terrorism in the region.
The local population, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the armed forces, raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Long Live Our Forces” to celebrate the victory. A senior security officer thanked the community for their unwavering support and urged citizens to offer prayers of gratitude for the success of the mission.
