On Thursday, January 1, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Freedom Fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front carried out a sudden and precision rocket attack on the Taliban-controlled Court building in the center of Faryab province.
The operation targeted a gathering of Taliban militias known as the “Judicial Police,” the operational wing enforcing the group’s strict morality codes under Amr bil Ma’ruf.
The engagement lasted roughly 15 minutes, resulting in the deaths of four Taliban members and injuries to two others.
This action represents a calculated effort by the Afghanistan Freedom Front to confront and disrupt the Taliban’s enforcement mechanisms, which have long instilled fear and repression in local communities. By striking the operational units of the Taliban’s so-called morality police, the Freedom Fighters aim to challenge oppressive control and assert the resilience of resistance forces in the region.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front emphasizes that this operation was executed with careful planning to minimize collateral damage while directly targeting Taliban forces responsible for enforcing harsh policies against civilians.
The group remains committed to continuing operations against oppressive forces across Afghanistan until justice, freedom, and security are restored to the Afghan people.
