Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Qalat district of Balochistan on December 27 after receiving credible information about the presence of militants belonging to the Indian-sponsored proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to the ISPR, security forces conducted the operation in a targeted and effective manner, successfully engaging the terrorists’ hideout. During an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-backed terrorists were neutralized.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists, who were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area, the military’s media wing stated.
The ISPR added that clearance and sanitization operations are currently underway in the area to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists. It reaffirmed that, under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to continuing comprehensive counterterrorism operations with full force to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
