Four Terrorists, Including Two Key Commanders, Killed in IBO in Panjgur

Security forces carried out a successful intelligence-led operation in the Tasp area of Panjgur, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists, including two senior commanders, officials confirmed.

According to security sources, the operation was launched after credible intelligence indicated the presence of high-value terrorist commanders in the area. As troops moved in to apprehend the suspects, they came under fire, leading to an exchange in which four terrorists were neutralized.

Among those killed were Commander Abdul Muttalib and Commander Saleem, also known as “Rocketi,” both described as highly significant figures within terrorist networks operating in the region. Commander Abdul Muttalib was identified as a high-value target and was wanted in multiple terrorism-related cases. Sources further revealed that he was a former employee of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), a factor that had heightened his operational knowledge and threat profile.

Security officials stated that the operation dealt a major blow to terrorist infrastructure in the area and prevented potential attacks on civilians and security installations. Clearance and intelligence assessment activities continue to ensure the area is fully secured and to identify any remaining accomplices.

The security forces reiterated their resolve to pursue terrorists across all regions and emphasized that intelligence-based operations remain a key component of ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in Balochistan.
