Four Security Personnel Martyred in Terrorist Ambush in Aman Kot, Karak

Four personnel of the security forces, including three soldiers and a civilian driver, were martyred on Wednesday when terrorists ambushed their vehicle near Aman Kot, district Karak. According to official sources, the incident occurred as a vehicle carrying members of Platoon 272 was en route from the Squad Gurghure Plant to CPF Company. As the vehicle reached Aman Kot, it came under heavy and indiscriminate fire from unidentified assailants who had laid an ambush in the area.

The martyred personnel have been identified as Lance Naik Mehmood Shah, Sepoy Shahidullah, Sepoy Abdul Rauf, and a civilian driver of the company, Shakoor. All four lost their lives on the spot due to the intensity of the attack.

Sources further confirmed that the assailants also took away the official weapons of the martyred personnel before fleeing the scene. The bodies of the martyrs were promptly shifted to Teeri Hospital.

Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a comprehensive search operation to trace and apprehend the perpetrators.
