According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in Swat District on April 18, 2025, following reports of Khwarij presence in the area.
During the operation, troops effectively engaged the identified location, resulting in the killing of four Khwarij. The slain individuals were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
A cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site. A sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining threats.
The ISPR stated that Security Forces, in coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies, remain resolute in their commitment to eliminating terrorism and restoring peace across the country.
