Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Kurram district.

Acting on credible intelligence and real-time surveillance, troops swiftly engaged a group of Khawarij attempting to cross into Pakistani territory. The ensuing operation led to the elimination of four Khawarij on the spot.

Among those neutralized, one is believed to be a high-value target (HVT), although his identity is being withheld pending further confirmation. Sources indicate that this individual played a key role in orchestrating cross-border attacks and maintaining logistical links between terrorist factions operating in the border region.

Security officials have launched a post-engagement clearance operation to ensure no additional threats remain in the area. The incident marks another setback for Indian-backed terror networks attempting to destabilise the western frontier.

Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in denying any sanctuary or passage to such elements, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty and the lives of innocent civilians.
