Security Forces eliminated four Indian-sponsored Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat District on the night of February 18/19, 2026, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.
According to the ISPR, the operation was conducted on reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij. During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location. After an intense exchange of fire, four Khwarij were killed.
A cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed militants, who, the statement said, had remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
The ISPR added that a sanitisation operation was underway to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the area. It reaffirmed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would continue at full pace.
Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, the statement said, remain determined to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
