Forty-One Indian-Sponsored Terrorists Eliminated in Precision Operations Across Balochistan: ISPR

Pakistan’s Security Forces, in close coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies, have achieved a major counter-terrorism success by neutralizing forty-one terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored proxy groups Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan during two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Balochistan on 29 January 2026.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation was carried out on the outskirts of Harnai District following confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna al Khwarij terrorists. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged a terrorist hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, thirty Indian-sponsored Khwarij terrorists were neutralized. A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the site and destroyed on the spot, preventing their potential use in future terrorist attacks.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in Panjgur District, security forces dismantled another terrorist hideout, successfully neutralizing eleven Indian-sponsored terrorists affiliated with Fitna al Hindustan. In addition to weapons and ammunition, security forces recovered looted cash from a bank robbery carried out in Panjgur on 15 December 2025, confirming the group’s involvement in organized criminal and terrorist activities. These terrorists were responsible for multiple acts of violence and subversion in the region.

Following the successful engagements, sanitization and clearance operations are ongoing in both areas to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorist elements and to prevent regrouping or escape.

ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies remain steadfast in their resolve to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country. The operations are part of the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the national vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

The state reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the lives of its citizens, defending national sovereignty, and dismantling all networks involved in terrorism, sabotage, and destabilization efforts. Pakistan’s security apparatus will continue operations at full pace to eradicate the menace of externally sponsored and supported terrorism from its soil.
