A solemn yet proud “Day of Gratitude” ceremony was held at Pakistan House in London, where Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, hoisted the national flag in honor of the country’s resilience, unity, and unwavering sovereignty.
Addressing the gathering, High Commissioner Dr. Faisal said, “This is a historic moment of pride for the entire Pakistani nation. We have shown the world that no force, no aggression, and no provocation can shake the foundations of our sovereignty or our unbreakable national resolve.”
Dr. Faisal paid glowing tribute to the brave Armed Forces of Pakistan, lauding their unmatched courage and unwavering commitment. “With exceptional bravery and deep dedication, our forces have upheld the dignity and honor of the green crescent flag,” he remarked.
The High Commissioner reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity with the people of Kashmir, reiterating that the Pakistani nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their legitimate struggle for the right to self-determination. “Our support for the Kashmiri cause is resolute and unwavering,” he stated.
Underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to peace, Dr. Faisal emphasized that while the country has always desired peaceful coexistence in the region, it remains fully prepared to deliver a firm and fitting response to any act of aggression against it.
