Five TTP Terrorists Killed While Attempting Cross-Border Infiltration in Zhob

Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted a major cross-border infiltration attempt late Wednesday night, eliminating five terrorists affiliated with the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Khawara Sector of Zhob district, North Balochistan.

According to details, the incident occurred during the night between December 3 and 4 when a group of armed terrorists attempted to illegally enter Pakistan from across the Afghan border. The movement was promptly detected by the troops stationed in the area, who engaged the infiltrators with precision fire.

The exchange resulted in the killing of five TTP terrorists, preventing what officials described as a likely terror plot inside Pakistan. Security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, and tactical equipment from the terrorists. Photographs and video footage of the encounter have been secured and will be released after verification.

The official reminded that Pakistan has consistently raised serious concerns with Afghan authorities over the use of Afghan soil by TTP terrorists for launching attacks inside Pakistan. Despite repeated assurances, infiltration attempts continue, prompting enhanced surveillance and robust border security measures.
