An intense armed clash broke out early Saturday morning between Punjab Police and suspected Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists in Jaday Wala village, the last settlement along the Punjab–Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border.
Initial reports suggest that at least five TTP operatives were killed in the exchange of fire, while several others are believed to be holed up inside a compound.
The operation is ongoing, and further details are awaited as security forces continue to clear the area.
