According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five Indian-sponsored Khawarij affiliated with the proxy network Fitna al-Khawarij were eliminated in two separate intelligence-based operations conducted by Pakistan’s security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the night of 15 and 16 June 2025.
In the first operation carried out in Peshawar District, security forces, acting on precise intelligence regarding the presence of Indian-backed elements, swiftly cordoned off the identified location. Following an intense exchange of fire, four Khawarij among them Kharji Haris and Kharji Baseer—were sent to hell.
In a separate intelligence-driven engagement in North Waziristan District, another Khawarij operative was neutralized by Pakistan’s vigilant troops during a brief yet decisive gun battle.
The ISPR further confirmed that a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the slain Indian-sponsored operatives, who had been involved in multiple acts of violence and subversion in the region.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to clear the area of any remaining elements linked to Fitna al-Khawarij. The security forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their mission to eradicate the scourge of Indian-sponsored terrorism and ensure lasting peace and stability across the country.
