Security forces have conducted a targeted intelligence-based operation near Kohlu in Balochistan, resulting in the killing of five individuals identified by officials as operatives of “Fitna-al-Hindustan,” including a local commander, according to security sources.
The operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna-al-Hindustan elements in the area. Officials stated that security personnel moved in to engage the suspects, leading to an exchange of fire during which all five operatives were killed.
Sources described the deceased commander as a key figure within the group, allegedly involved in coordinating activities and operations in the region. Authorities believe the operation has dealt a significant setback to the network’s local structure and capabilities.
Security officials added that the action is part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts aimed at dismantling Fitna-al-Hindustan networks and ensuring stability in Balochistan. Such intelligence-driven operations, they said, are being carried out to prevent potential threats and safeguard civilian populations.
Following the encounter, a search and clearance operation was conducted in the surrounding area to eliminate any remaining threats. Initial reports indicate that no security personnel were injured during the operation.
Officials reiterated their resolve to continue operations against Fitna-al-Hindustan elements and other hostile networks, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
