In a successful joint intelligence-based operation, security forces eliminated five militants affiliated with the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in the Dabbar Ghar area of District Kohlu, Balochistan.
According to official sources, the operation was carried out by personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), who had laid an ambush near the suspected hideout. During the subsequent sanitization of the area, the movement of armed terrorists was detected in a nearby dry stream.
The security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and engaged the militants. In the ensuing exchange of fire, five BLA terrorists were killed. The successful operation is being seen as a significant blow to the BLA’s presence in the region.
