Fitna-al-Hindustan Operative Killed by Own IED in Kech, Balochistan

A member of the Fitna-al-Hindustan network was killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) he had planted to target security forces exploded prematurely in the Dasht area of Kech district, Balochistan. According to credible sources, the incident occurred in the mountainous Siyahji region near Malai Nagor in Dasht, where the operative had installed an explosive device along a known access route used by security personnel. The device detonated during the placement process, resulting in the death of the individual on the spot.

Initial assessments indicate that the device was intended for a targeted attack on patrolling units of the security forces. However, due to a technical fault or handling error, the plan failed and the member of Fitna-al-Hindustan was killed by his own explosives. Authorities suspect that this failed attempt was orchestrated as part of a broader campaign by Fitna-al-Hindustan an India-sponsored proxy network involved in fueling unrest and destabilisation in Balochistan through acts of sabotage and terrorism.

Security forces remain vigilant and committed to dismantling such externally-backed elements, reiterating their resolve to maintain peace and stability across the province.
