The Washington Post has lauded Pakistan’s successful diplomacy, stating that relations between Pakistan and the United States have reached new heights under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, whose efforts are being acknowledged worldwide.

According to the American daily, Pakistan’s recent diplomatic campaign has been described as highly effective, with Field Marshal Asim Munir’s recent visit to the United States seen as “a symbol of a new dimension” in Pakistan-US relations. The report noted that what was initially regarded as a challenge Donald Trump’s return as US President—was turned into an opportunity, as Pakistan fostered closer engagement with the White House in view of changing global dynamics.

The Washington Post further stated that Washington praised Pakistan’s counter-terrorism initiatives and acknowledged Islamabad’s diplomatic achievements, including the designation of the outlawed Baloch Liberation (BL) group as a global terrorist organization.

The report revealed that Pakistan also extended proposals for US cooperation in cryptocurrency ventures and mineral development projects, while President Trump expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities across various sectors in Pakistan.

It added that relations between Islamabad and Washington gained further momentum following the ceasefire agreement with India, which contributed to a more favorable environment for regional stability.
