Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS and CDF, met the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday.

During the meeting, the Field Marshal congratulated the players, team management, and officials on their historic triumph in winning the Asia Cup Men’s Under-19 tournament. He praised the team’s discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit, describing the achievement as a moment of pride for the nation.

Appreciating the dedication and hard work of the young cricketers, the Field Marshal said their success reflects the immense talent and potential of Pakistan’s youth. He encouraged the players to continue striving for excellence, uphold professionalism, and represent the country with distinction both on and off the field.

He emphasised that Pakistan’s youth are the foundation of the nation’s future, whose energy, talent, and character will shape its progress and global standing.
