Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Egyptian President el-Sisi to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at the Union Palace in Cairo, in a high-level visit aimed at reinforcing longstanding relations between Pakistan and Egypt.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest and reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the historic friendship between the two countries.

During the meeting, Field Marshal Munir praised Egypt’s leadership role in promoting peace and stability in the region, while both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing public engagement and people-to-people contacts to deepen bilateral cooperation.

President el-Sisi commended Pakistan’s constructive and proactive role on issues concerning the international community and the Muslim Ummah. The two leaders also underscored the need for alignment on matters of shared strategic interest and cooperation in advancing regional security and stability.

This meeting marks a continued effort to expand diplomatic, strategic, and military ties between Pakistan and Egypt, reinforcing the enduring partnership between the two nations.
