Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Bangladesh Air Chief, Reviews Regional Security and Defence Cooperation

Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security dynamics, and avenues for enhancing bilateral defence and military cooperation. The talks focused on strengthening professional collaboration, expanding training exchanges, and deepening defence ties between the armed forces of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and appreciated their contributions toward regional peace and stability. Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fostering strong, enduring defence relations with Bangladesh.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming the longstanding and cordial ties between the two brotherly countries.
