The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul hosted a grand Passing Out Parade today, marking the successful completion of training for cadets of the 152nd PMA Long Course, 71st Integrated Course, 26th Lady Cadet Course, and 37th Technical Graduate Course. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), attended the event as the chief guest, reviewing the parade and awarding accolades to the most distinguished cadets.
The ceremony featured cadets from Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, Mali, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Bangladesh, and Nigeria, underscoring the strong international ties fostered at PMA Kakul.
Among the notable awards presented were the Sword of Honour, which went to Academy Senior Under Officer Ahmed Mujtaba Arif Raja of the 152nd PMA Long Course, and the President’s Gold Medal awarded to Battalion Senior Under Officer Zohair Hussain from the same course. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal was given to Company Junior Under Officer Tekraj (152nd PMA Long Course), while the Chief of Army Staff Marksman Medal went to Gentleman Cadet Syed Hashir Hassan (152nd PMA Long Course).
Additionally, Chief of Army Staff Cane was awarded to Course Under Officer Shaheer Ali of the 37th Technical Graduate Course, and the Commandant’s Overseas Medal was given to Course Sports Sergeant Most Jannatul Mawa of the 26th Lady Cadet Course.
Field Marshal Munir, in his address, praised the discipline, commitment, and courage of all the graduating cadets, wishing them success as they embark on their journey to serve their respective nations with valour and pride.
