FC Headquarter Peshawar Attack Investigation Yields Major Breakthrough

Investigative authorities have announced a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into the suicide attacks on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, which occurred on 24 November last year. The attacks, which tragically claimed the lives of three FC personnel and injured five others, also resulted in injuries to eight civilians.

According to officials, the suicide bombers responsible for the attack were Afghan nationals, and the planning and coordination of these attacks were carried out from Afghanistan. Key arrests have been made in connection with the incident, including individuals who acted as facilitators and supporters of the attackers.

Investigative authorities emphasized that these developments mark a critical step forward in uncovering the networks behind cross-border terrorism and preventing similar attacks in the future. “The successful identification and apprehension of the perpetrators and their facilitators demonstrates our unwavering commitment to justice and security,” officials stated.

The attacks on the FC Headquarters not only targeted law enforcement personnel but also endangered civilians in the vicinity, highlighting the urgent need for vigilance and collaborative security measures. Authorities have assured the public that every effort is being made to dismantle terrorist networks operating across the border and to ensure the safety of all citizens.

This breakthrough reinforces Pakistan’s determination to confront terrorism with decisive action and cross-border cooperation, while sending a strong message that attacks on law enforcement and civilians will not go unpunished.
