Faisalabad’s Brave Son Laid to Rest with Full Military Honours

Havaldar Muhammad Naveed, a valiant soldier of the Pakistan Army who hailed from Faisalabad, was laid to rest with full military honours in his hometown after embracing martyrdom in the line of duty.

Havaldar Naveed attained the highest rank of martyrdom during an operation as part of the ongoing struggle against anti-state elements. His funeral prayer and burial took place in Faisalabad and were attended by a large number of people, including the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Sargodha, senior military officers, soldiers, the martyr’s family members, and local notables.

The attendees paid rich tributes to the bravery and sacrifice of Havaldar Muhammad Naveed Shaheed. The GOC Sargodha also offered condolences to the bereaved family and praised the martyr’s courage and unwavering commitment to defending the homeland.

Speaking on the occasion, the family of the martyr said, “Even if we had ten sons, we would have sacrificed them all for the sanctity of our motherland. Our armed forces stand as an unbreakable wall against the enemy, and the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their military.”

The funeral reflected not only the nation’s immense respect for its martyrs but also its unity in the face of every threat to national security.
