Security agencies have successfully arrested the facilitator and handler involved in the deadly Islamabad Judicial Complex attack. The facilitator, who had been residing in Rawalpindi for the past month, was apprehended there, while the handler was arrested in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Both suspects are reportedly linked to terrorist elements from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
Sources revealed that prior to carrying out the suicide attack, the facilitator and the suicide bomber conducted multiple reconnaissance visits to the Judicial Complex to plan the operation. The devastating attack on the Islamabad Judicial Complex had claimed 12 lives and left 36 others injured. Authorities had previously arrested the motorcycle rider who had facilitated the attacker’s entry into the complex.
Officials stated that the arrests are part of ongoing operations to dismantle terrorist networks and prevent future attacks, underscoring the commitment of Pakistan’s security agencies to safeguard public institutions and ensure the rule of law.
