Enemy Within: India-Backed BLA Terrorist Zubair Baloch Neutralised in Dalbandin Operation

Terrorist, Zubair Baloch Eliminated, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Dalbandin Operation, Fitna al-Hindustan

In a major breakthrough, security forces eliminated a high-value terrorist, Zubair Baloch, affiliated with the Indian-backed militant group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), designated by the state as Fitna al-Hindustan. Baloch was responsible for the targeted killing of two unarmed Pakistan Air Force personnel who were on leave and traveling home.

According to intelligence sources, following the brutal attack, agencies launched a detailed investigation and began connecting the dots. The trail eventually led to Zubair Baloch, who had been operating under the guise of a student leader and was previously affiliated with the Baloch Students Organisation (BSO).

Like the detained terrorist Usman Qazi, Zubair Baloch was actively working for BLA, exploiting his civilian cover and student activism to conceal his true identity. He also served as a reconnaissance operative for the group’s intelligence wing, helping identify targets for future attacks.

Despite taking elaborate precautions, Zubair remained under close surveillance. Concrete evidence was collected against him, and when security forces moved in to arrest him, he resisted—triggering an armed confrontation during which he was killed.

Sources added that BLA-trained terrorists are known to keep a bullet for themselves to avoid capture. True to that pattern, Zubair chose to resist arrest rather than surrender, and was neutralized in the ensuing exchange.

The successful operation is being hailed as a significant step in dismantling BLA’s covert urban networks and bringing justice to the families of martyred personnel.
