Eight Khawarij Eliminated as Security Forces Foil Cross-Border Infiltration Attempt in North Waziristan

Security forces successfully thwarted a cross-border infiltration attempt from Afghanistan in the Wacha Nala area of Shawal, North Waziristan, killing eight Khawarij in a swift and decisive operation that averted a major security breach.

The armed group of Khawarij was attempting to breach the border fence under the cover of rugged terrain to illegally enter Pakistani territory. Acting on timely intelligence, security forces intercepted the infiltrators as they advanced toward the border. A fierce exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the elimination of all eight militants.

The prompt and effective response by the security forces not only neutralised the immediate threat but also prevented what could have been a significant act of violence inside Pakistan. The operation highlights the increasing attempts by Khawarij based in Afghanistan to exploit the porous frontier for subversive activities.

Following the engagement, a comprehensive sanitisation operation was launched in the surrounding area to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threats and to reinforce border security. The successful interdiction stands as further proof of the vigilance and operational capability of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending national sovereignty.

The elimination of the infiltrators underscores Pakistan’s firm resolve to crush the Khawarij and deny them any safe haven or operational space, whether inside the country or across the border.
