Eight Indian-Sponsored Khawarij Neutralized in North Waziristan Border Operation: ISPR

Pakistani security forces detected the movement of a group of Khawarij along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan District. Acting swiftly and with precision, the forces engaged this group, successfully neutralizing eight Khawarij affiliated with the Indian-sponsored faction, Fitna al Khwarij. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the neutralized group.

This engagement highlights the continued inability of the Afghan Taliban regime to enforce effective border management on their side of the frontier. Pakistan urges the Afghan Taliban to fulfill their obligations and prevent Afghan soil from being exploited by Khawarij or other terrorist elements targeting Pakistan.

“The operation underscores our unwavering commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers,” stated Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). “Our troops remain resolute in eliminating foreign-sponsored threats and ensuring the security of Pakistan’s border regions.”

As part of the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, sanctioned by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, comprehensive sanitization operations are ongoing in North Waziristan to identify and neutralize any remaining Khawarij in the area. The campaign continues at full pace in coordination with law enforcement agencies, demonstrating Pakistan’s dedication to eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism.

The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces will persist in their relentless counter-terrorism efforts, leaving no safe haven for Khawarij or any foreign-backed extremist groups seeking to destabilize the country.
