Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, delivered a comprehensive briefing detailing a series of brutal terrorist attacks in Balochistan orchestrated and backed by India’s intelligence apparatus. Highlighting the heinous targeting of innocent civilians, he condemned India’s persistent efforts to destabilize Pakistan through proxy militants operating under the banner of “Fitna-e-Hindustan.”
Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif recounted the grim timeline of attacks: on April 12, 2024, laborers were martyred; on May 9, seven barbers were mercilessly killed in their homes during sleep; on October 10, coal miners were slaughtered in Duki; on February 10, 2025, two tailors fell victim to terrorists in Kech; on February 19, laborers were forcibly removed from a bus and executed in Barkhan; and on March 11, 2025, unarmed civilians were massacred in a brutal assault on the Jaffar Express.
Despite this relentless violence, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif emphasized that the spirit and resolve of the Baloch people remain unshaken. The recent attack on a school bus in Khuzdar on May 21, 2025, which left 51 wounded—mostly children—has further galvanized public condemnation. “The people of Balochistan reject any attempt to link terrorism with their identity,” he affirmed.
Citing a confession from Indian Major Sandeep, the DG ISPR exposed India’s orchestration of terror operations stretching from Balochistan to Lahore. “Major Sandeep’s statement unequivocally confirms India’s direct involvement in fomenting terrorism inside Pakistan,” he declared.
Addressing the Indian military strikes inside Pakistan on May 6 and 7, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif challenged the international media to scrutinise these sites and questioned the legitimacy of India’s claims. “India must present credible evidence for these attacks or cease its false accusations,” he insisted.
The DG ISPR also highlighted the recovery of sophisticated and costly weaponry from captured militants, raising concerns over the supply chain funding these terror outfits. He denounced the Indian media’s role in spreading disinformation to mask India’s culpability.
In conclusion, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to exposing and countering India’s state-sponsored terrorism at every global forum, asserting that such acts of aggression will only strengthen Pakistan’s resolve for peace and security.
