Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, DG ISPR Expose Indian Involvement in Terrorism During Joint Press Conference

Ishaq Dar, DG ISPR, Press Conference, Terrorism, Pakistan

Islamabad: In a high-level joint press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, accompanied by DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, delivered a strong message regarding India’s recent actions and its alleged involvement in sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.

Opening the briefing, Ishaq Dar stated that the purpose of the conference was to inform the public and the international community about the unfolding situation. “Following the Pahalgam incident, India has adopted an irresponsible and aggressive stance,” he said.

Condemning the killing of innocent civilians, Dar recalled, “Islam clearly states that the killing of one innocent person is like the killing of all humanity. We strongly condemned the attack in Pahalgam then and do so now as well.”

He further asserted that Pakistan continues to suffer from Indian-sponsored terrorism and has engaged with multiple countries to raise awareness about India’s destabilising activities. “We have been in contact with various nations to expose India’s real face and ensure the world understands the gravity of the situation,” he added.

Supporting the remarks, DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry reiterated in line with his previous day’s media briefing that India is not only involved in cross-border terrorism but also in terror financing. He revealed a significant breakthrough in the arrest of Indian terrorist Abdul Majeed from Jhelum bus stand.

“During the forensic analysis of his mobile phone, we found WhatsApp chats and voice notes directly linking him to Indian Army officers,” the DG ISPR said, presenting it as undeniable proof of India’s hand in orchestrating terrorism inside Pakistan.

The joint conference signalled Pakistan’s firm resolve to expose India’s covert operations and its attempts to destabilise the region under the guise of victim-hood. Both officials underscored that Pakistan will take this evidence to international forums to hold India accountable.
