Decisive Strike Wipes Out 15 Khawarij of Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group in North Waziristan

A precision strike in the Dwa Kamar area of Dattakhel, North Waziristan, has eliminated at least 15 Khawarij belonging to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group (HGB), in what is being described as a significant blow to the network’s operational capacity.

Those eliminated included key operatives and high-value figures of the Khawarij outfit, long involved in orchestrating subversive activities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Their role in attacks on civilians, law enforcement personnel, and security forces had made them one of the most notorious cells operating in the region.

The elimination of the HGB Khawarij marks a turning point in efforts to dismantle the group’s presence in North Waziristan. The strike not only neutralized their leadership but also sent a clear message that no faction of Khawarij will be allowed to destabilize Pakistan.

The state has categorically reaffirmed that operations against the Khawarij will continue relentlessly until their complete eradication. “Every sanctuary of the Khawarij will be destroyed. Pakistan’s soil will never be allowed to be used by these elements against its people,” the statement emphasized.

This latest success underscores Pakistan’s growing capability to deliver precise and effective blows against Khawarij groups, ensuring that sacrifices made in the fight for peace translate into lasting stability for the nation.
