Security forces have delivered a crushing blow to Khawarij elements in the Dattakhel area of North Waziristan, neutralizing multiple high-value commanders and dismantling their entrenched network in the region. His death represents the removal of one of the most dangerous architects of sabotage in the tribal belt.
Also neutralized was Noor Muhammad, a Khawarij operative infamous for deploying explosive-laden Afghan quadcopters against Pakistani positions. His activities highlighted the increasing reliance of Khawarij factions on foreign-manufactured technology and cross-border facilitation.
The third prominent figure killed was Commander Umar, a seasoned Khawarij commander active since 2009, deeply involved in subversive campaigns and recruitment drives across North Waziristan. His elimination has left a major vacuum in the Khawarij operational chain.
Initial reports confirm that between eight to ten Khawarij were neutralized during the action, including the above-mentioned commanders. Security sources said the Khawarij cell in Dattakhel had long been exploiting the difficult terrain for shelter, logistics, and planning of future attacks.
