In a brazen and violent attack, an officer of the CPEC Security Force was abducted by unidentified armed assailants in the Dogar Umarzai area, following which the assailants set fire to the officer’s residence, destroying three rooms and causing extensive property damage.
Police sources have confirmed that the abducted officer, Mr. Qadeer, is a resident of Dogar Umarzai and was actively serving with the CPEC Security Force at the time of the attack. Local reports indicate that a group of 40 to 50 heavily armed militants carried out the operation, entering the residence and executing the attack with precision.
Authorities have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the incident, examining all operational, security, and intelligence angles. The police are coordinating with regional law enforcement and counterterrorism units to locate the abducted officer and bring the perpetrators to justice.
“This is a serious and unacceptable act of violence against law enforcement personnel and their families,” stated police officials. “Our teams are fully mobilized to ensure the safety of the officer, secure the area, and investigate all leads.”
