Pakistan’s security forces carried out a targeted counterterrorism operation in Turbat, Balochistan, eliminating six terrorists affiliated with the banned outfit Fitna-al-Hindustan, according to security sources.

The intelligence-based operation was launched after credible reports regarding the presence of terrorist elements in the area. As security personnel moved to cordon off the location, the terrorists opened fire, triggering an intense exchange. The forces responded swiftly and effectively, neutralizing all six terrorists on the spot.

During the clearance operation, a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the site. Officials said the seized arsenal indicates that the group was planning sabotage activities targeting security forces and critical infrastructure in the region.

Security sources further revealed that the eliminated terrorists were actively involved in facilitating attacks and maintaining logistical networks linked to cross-border handlers. Their presence in Turbat highlights ongoing efforts by hostile elements to destabilize Balochistan through coordinated terrorist activity.

Following the operation, security forces launched a sweep of surrounding areas to ensure no accomplices had escaped and to dismantle any remaining support infrastructure.

Authorities reiterated that operations against Fitna-al-Hindustan and other banned terrorist organizations will continue with full intensity. The successful action in Turbat reflects Pakistan’s firm resolve to eliminate terrorism and maintain peace and stability across Balochistan.
