Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Headquarters today, where he was warmly received by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu. The visit comes in the wake of the PAF’s successful defence against recent Indian airstrikes.

During the visit, General Munir commended the PAF for its swift and effective response, which led to the downing of five Indian fighter jets and the destruction of several military installations. He praised the inter-service collaboration between the Army and Air Force, emphasising its critical role in achieving operational success.
General Munir reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance on safeguarding its territorial integrity, stating that any violation would be met with a resolute response. He assured the nation that the armed forces remain vigilant and prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty.

The meeting underscored the strengthened cooperation between Pakistan’s military branches and reaffirmed the commitment to national defence.
