Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti exposed the Indian-backed network “Fitna-e-Hindustan” as a major threat to Pakistan’s peace, stating that it is being directly supported by the Indian intelligence agency RAW. He ruled out the need for any major military operation in Balochistan, saying the people of the province have decisively rejected this foreign-backed agenda.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, CM Bugti said India, after facing defeat in open warfare, had shifted to sponsoring proxy terrorism inside Pakistan. “India suffered a crushing defeat in war and now hides behind proxies. Fitna-e-Hindustan is part of India’s hybrid war against Pakistan, with RAW serving as its main patron,” he said.
He accused Indian media of spreading fabricated news, such as false claims about damage to Karachi Port, as part of a broader disinformation campaign. “This network is not just spreading lies — it is endangering civilian lives and national security,” he added.
Bugti presented audio evidence of terrorists allegedly linked to the group and said that RAW handlers were directly supplying them with sensitive intelligence. “The state possesses substantial evidence against Fitna-e-Hindustan. These will be presented through the appropriate legal and diplomatic channels,” he stated.
He further revealed that Fitna-e-Hindustan was responsible for attacks that resulted in the martyrdom of children in Khuzdar, underlining the network’s brutality and disregard for human life.
Rejecting the need for a large-scale military campaign in the province, the Chief Minister said, “Balochistan does not require a major operation. The situation is under control, and the people themselves have rejected this network.”
He also challenged the narrative around missing persons, noting, “The number of self-staged disappearances now exceeds alleged enforced disappearances.”
Bugti stressed that the Fitna-e-Hindustan narrative had no connection with Baloch culture, values, or identity. “The people of Balochistan have made it clear: Fitna-e-Hindustan has no place in our land, and it must not be associated with our traditions and heritage,” he concluded.
