CM Balochistan at Quetta Blast Site, Issues Strong Message Against Terror

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, visited the site of the bomb explosion in Quetta to personally review the security arrangements and assess the overall situation. During the visit, the Chief Minister was briefed in detail on the incident and the subsequent response by law enforcement agencies.

The Chief Minister met with officers and personnel of the police and security forces deployed at the site, acknowledging their courage and professionalism. Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir Khan, provided a comprehensive briefing on the incident, including the actions taken by police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).

Commending the swift and effective response of the police and CTD, the Chief Minister praised the bravery of the personnel involved, stating that their timely action prevented further loss of life and helped stabilize the situation. He emphasized that the immediate response of law enforcement agencies against terrorist elements was commendable and reflected their high level of preparedness.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti reiterated the government’s firm resolve against terrorism, stating that anti-state elements would not be spared under any circumstances. He made it clear that there would be no compromise on peace and security in Balochistan, and that all available resources would continue to be utilized to ensure the safety of the people.

The Chief Minister further directed the concerned authorities to maintain heightened vigilance and ensure effective coordination among security agencies to prevent any future incidents. He reaffirmed the provincial government’s full support for law enforcement agencies in their ongoing efforts to safeguard peace and stability across Balochistan.
