Security forces in North Waziristan conducted a targeted operation in the Datta Khel area after receiving credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists. The operation resulted in the death of eight terrorists, while two others were injured.
According to sources, five bodies of the killed terrorists are in the custody of security forces. A clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants in the area. All entry and exit routes have been sealed, and search operations intensified to ensure complete security.
Security officials emphasized that the swift and coordinated response was aimed at neutralizing the threat before it could escalate, highlighting Pakistan’s continued efforts to maintain stability and counter terrorism in the region.
