In a bold and unambiguous statement, renowned Chinese geopolitical expert and global affairs analyst Victor Gao has warned that China will firmly stand by Pakistan in the event of any aggression against it. His remarks came during an interview with Indian media, where he dismissed any notions of Pakistan being diplomatically or militarily isolated.
Victor Gao emphasized that China considers its relationship with Pakistan a cornerstone of regional stability. “If any country attacks Pakistan, China will stand with Pakistan in its defence,” he asserted. “China will never abandon Pakistan, especially when its sovereignty and security are at stake.”
He further referenced past incidents involving attacks on Chinese nationals in Pakistan, highlighting that China had always demanded comprehensive investigations. He reiterated the same stance in the case of the recent Pahalgam episode, urging clarity and accountability.
