BLF Kidnaps Family Members of Nokundi Suicide Bomber to Suppress Testimony

Suicide Bomber, Zareena Rafiq Baloch, Nokundi Suicide Attack

The proscribed Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has kidnapped three close relatives of the female suicide bomber who attacked the Frontier Corps Headquarters in Nokundi, Balochistan. The abducted include the bomber’s father, Master Rafiq, her uncle Khudad, and her fiancé, Zubair.

The family had earlier revealed that Zareena Rafiq Baloch, also known as Tarang Mahoo, was forcibly recruited and exploited by the BLF. She had been taken under the pretext of attending a workshop and was isolated, manipulated, and blackmailed with inappropriate videos to coerce her into extremist activity.

After the family disclosed these details publicly, BLF operatives kidnapped her father, uncle, and fiancé, threatening that all three would be killed if they continued to reveal the circumstances of Zareena’s radicalisation.

Security officials confirm that these abductions are part of a systematic pattern of coercion and internal brutality by the BLF. The group continues to exploit, manipulate, and intimidate vulnerable individuals and their families to sustain their operations, using fear to silence witnesses and maintain control.

Investigations into the kidnappings and the wider network behind Zareena’s radicalisation are ongoing. Authorities are committed to rescuing the abducted family members and holding the perpetrators accountable.
