BLA’s “Qaher” Drone Threat Crippling Before It Emerges: Security Forces Neutralize Key Operatives

In a decisive counterterrorism operation, Pakistan’s security forces successfully neutralized three to four terrorists allegedly linked to the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and their so-called “Qaher” drone platoon, according to official security sources.

The operation was conducted immediately following the group’s public announcement regarding the establishment and planned activities of its drone unit. Security forces, acting on credible intelligence regarding the movement of these terrorists and the operational status of the drone network, carried out a swift and targeted response to prevent potential threats.

Officials confirmed that the operation effectively disrupted the formation of the drone platoon, neutralizing its core members before they could execute any hostile activity. This preemptive action highlights the vigilance and operational readiness of Pakistan’s security and counterterrorism agencies.

Authorities emphasized that intelligence-led operations and timely interventions remain critical tools in countering evolving terrorist threats, particularly as extremist groups attempt to modernize their tactics through drones and other advanced technologies.

The Government of Pakistan reaffirmed its resolve to continue coordinated counterterrorism efforts and stressed that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of citizens and the integrity of the nation’s security infrastructure.
