Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Indian government, branding its suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty as a “crime against humanity” and exposing New Delhi’s hypocrisy in falsely accusing Pakistan of terrorism while itself perpetrating state terror in Kashmir.
Speaking in the National Assembly following India’s fabricated Pulwama false flag operation and the subsequent wave of aggression, Bilawal condemned the Modi government for what he called “a dangerous display of arrogance and irresponsibility.” He said India began blaming Pakistan “before the blood of the victims had even dried,” closed its borders, and issued threats—without a shred of evidence.
“Let the world know: Pakistan is not exporting terrorism—we are its victim,” Bilawal said, rejecting India’s baseless allegations. “Our people have suffered the horrors of ideological, foreign-sponsored terrorism. We buried our schoolchildren, our soldiers. We stood wounded and alone while the world chose silence.”
He said terrorism was not merely a physical act of violence but “an attack on truth, peace, and civilization,” adding that the real face of terror was visible in Indian actions: “When injustice rises and the world remains silent, that too is terrorism. When homes are bulldozed in the dead of night, when boots silence the cries of the oppressed, and when curfews last for decades—that is terrorism.”
Exposing India’s duplicity, he asked, “How can a state that commits daily human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir claim to fight terrorism? When you are the lawbreakers in the valley, you have no moral ground to speak of justice.”
Addressing the Indian government directly, he said, “When your hands drip with the tears of Kashmiri mothers, echo with the screams of their children, and carry the silence of the murdered—do not speak to us of morality.”
Bilawal warned that the Modi-led regime’s reckless adventurism not only threatens regional peace but reveals a deeper, systematic cruelty. “By weaponizing water, India has crossed a dangerous line. The suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty is not just a violation of international agreements—it is a sinister act against humanity.”
He concluded by declaring, “Pakistanis have not learned to live in fear. No matter how loud India’s threats, we will not be intimidated.”
