Bannu Police and Citizens Unite Against Terrorism, Vow to Crush Khawarij

In a rare show of unity, the people of Bannu and the district police have pledged to work side by side against terrorism, with a renewed resolve to eliminate the Khawarij and restore lasting peace in the region. During a joint patrol in the jurisdiction of Mandan Police Station at Warishmi Kalay, elders and residents expressed their full support for the police in the fight against terrorism. They declared that in the prevailing circumstances, the war against the Khawarij was not the responsibility of law enforcement agencies alone, but of the entire nation.

The local residents said they stood shoulder to shoulder with the police and were ready to sacrifice everything to rid their area of those seeking to destroy peace. “This is our collective war, and together with the police we will uproot the Khawarij and restore Bannu as a cradle of peace and harmony,” said community representatives.

They further emphasized that the sacrifices of the police would not go in vain and vowed that the public would back law enforcement “with shrouds on their heads,” symbolizing their readiness to lay down their lives for the cause of peace.

Bannu police, while appreciating the overwhelming public support, said that the partnership between law enforcement agencies and citizens was the only effective way to eradicate terrorism and defeat the Khawarij. They affirmed that the combined strength of police and people would foil the designs of all anti-peace forces.
