Balochistan: Security Forces Neutralise Seven Terrorists in Kohlu Operation

Security forces carried out a precision operation against the terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan in Kohlu district, Balochistan, killing seven militants and injuring several others, security sources said on Friday.

According to officials, the operation was conducted in two phases based on actionable intelligence about the presence of armed militants in the area. In the first phase, security personnel engaged and eliminated four terrorists. As forces advanced and consolidated their positions, a second phase of the operation was launched, resulting in the killing of three more militants.

Sources said the operation was executed with precision to minimise collateral damage, while effectively dismantling the militant presence in the area. A large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists, indicating their involvement in planned acts of violence and subversive activities.

Security officials described the operation as part of sustained efforts to eliminate terrorist networks operating in remote parts of Balochistan and to deny them space to regroup or launch attacks against security forces and civilians.

Authorities reiterated that intelligence-based operations would continue across the province to ensure public safety and maintain stability, adding that forces remain on high alert to counter any retaliatory or residual threats following the Kohlu action.
